Adult Ministries

Sunday School Classes - Sundays, 10:00 - 10:45

Agape - a class that averages 8 + in attendance & most of its members are 34+ in age. They spend class time discussing books like The Velvet Elvis, The First Paul, Writings in the Sand, The Screwtape Letters, The Gospel According to Harry Potter, etc.

Friendship Class - a class that averages 30 + in attendance & most of the members are 60+ in age. They spend class time studying directly from the Bible. They enjoy fellowship, social events, trips to Branson, and class time is filled with love & a lot of reverent laughter!

What-So-Ever Class - The average class size is 6, and the make up of the class is ladies ages 65+. This class has been in existence since the 1930's. We are small but are still growing. Our main focus is Bible study and Adult Bible Studies Quarterlies and Mature Years Magazine.

Scripture Seekers - Class with average attendance of 20, open to people of all ages. Focus of class is a book by book study of the Bible.

Outreach - Class with average attendance of 12 with members in the 50+ age group. The Outreach class studies a variety of Christian issues and participates in lively discussion about them.

Shalom - Class with an average attendance of 5 with ages 20-40ish. The main focus is to achieve/pursue a closer relationship with Jesus through various topics and missions.

Friendship/Pairs & Spares - With ages of 60+ and an average attendance of 10, the class focuses on Bible study using the Adult Bible Studies Quarterly.

New Young Adult Class - For ages 20 - 45, single or married, this class is taught by Steve Morgan. It meets in the Church Library immediately off the right side of the sanctuary. The subject matter is "Growth as a Christian."

Men's Bible Class - Fellowship for men and direct study of the Bible. It meets in the old church office, immediately off the hallway behind the Sanctuary.

Wednesday Night Prayer Service- 6:00 PM in the Chapel

United Methodist Women:

    Daytime Circles - Three groups. Each meets the second Thursday of the month.

    Nighttime Circles - One group meets the second Thursday, and one meets the third Tuesday of the month.

Seniors - Frequent special functions, including trips to near-by events and attractions, game days, and movie showings.
